From the Tandoor

The tandoor is the traditional cylindrical clay oven that makes Punjabi food all possible. Wood or charcoal fuels a fire at the base of the tandoor, and breads like naan and roti are slapped along the inside walls to bake. Meats are marinated overnight in a blend of yogurt, ginger, and garlic and then skewered and broiled over the tandoor’s flames.

From savory to sweet, Indian food will whet your appetite. Desserts like Gulab Jamun and Kheer along with traditional drinks like Punjabi Chai tea and Mumtaz Mango Lassis fuse Indian spice into something sweet.
